The Pivotal Role of Water in Climate Change- Photography Competition 2012-2013 ( http://crrdsc.jimdo.com/the-role-of-water-in-climate-change-photography-competition-2013/ )aims to encourage people across the world to record all aspects of water as the fundamental link between the climate system, human society and the environment, and also interesting and important issues relating to water and the vital role of water in everyday life.
Water is a human right, and this competition is about inspiring people across the world to record all aspects that inspires others to preserve water, now and for future generations. From the small things such as turning off the tap when you brush your teeth, over bigger issues such as installing water-efficient plumbing in buildings, to global solutions that could solve the supply/demand gap by transitioning to a green economy. 
Show, in pictures, problems that climate change affect the water and solutions, which are important for you and for everyone.
 The competition is open to professionals and non-professionals photographers of all countries aged 15 years and over, and entrants can submit up to five photographs for the competition. 
The award-winning photographs will be evaluated by a panel of professional judges.
The winners will be awarded with prizes: 1-st place- 3000 US$; 2nd- 2000 US$; 3rd- 1000 US$.
There will be additional prizes for the highly commended entries.
