Important Information, concerning a group volunteer medical trip to Anambra State

This is mainly for the indigent ones in our various villages.. Please make sure u pass this good news to somebody... The person who you are gonna help with this information will remain grateful forever... Biko, make out time to pass this information to those old women and old men in your villages who are looking for money to do their eye surgeries and other related surgeries...
The Association of Nigerian Physicians in America ( ANPA) Medical Mission Week March 22nd to March 30th at Enugwu Ukwu General Hospital, Regina Ceali Catholic Hospital Awka and Amaku teaching hospital. ANPA Medical Mission mission week this year is done in honor of Dr. Daniel Chinedu Nwankwo 20 years memorial anniversary by invitation of Mrs. Doris Nwankwo and son Dr. Victor Nwankwo. Dr. Daniel Chinedu Nwankwo was one of the Founding members of ANPA in 1994.

There are 33 doctors coming from USA for this medical mission from different specialties. The specialties are: Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatric Oncology, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Emergency medicine, Pharmacy, Nephrology, Anesthesia, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Pediatrics Neonatalogy, Gastroenterology. Plastic Surgeries and neurosurgeries will be performed at Amaku teaching hospital Awka because this is a bigger facility that can handle neurosurgery and plastic surgery cases.

Patients that will need surgery are advised to start pre registration and screening in preparations for surgery. The ANPA Medical Mission Week is free of charge. The ANPA medical mission is for those that cannot afford it. We are grateful to all these doctors who have paid Their transportation from USA to Enugwu Ukwu to honor Dr. Nwankwo's legacy. Dr. Nwankwo hails from Umuatuora Village Enugwu Ukwu, Njikoka local Government in Anambra State, Nigeria.
