It is necessary that you supply good quality products or services that your potential customers want and help them solve their problems.

With internet marketing, your market is globalized. The estimated internet users in December 2011 are 2,267,233,742. (Source: Internetworldstats.com) For easy calculation, let's say you are being exposed to only about 955 million internet users. Can you imagine the effect on your sale if you were to capture just 1 per cent of this market? You would have 9.55 million customers. All it takes is for each customer to spend one dollar with you, and your sale will be $ 9.55 million! Can you see the huge potential when you tap into the world market?

Before you start, determine what you are interested in or passionate about, in order to find a market niche to enter. Your interest may be in health, but your niche can be health supplement. There are 3 important things that you must have before you can start your online business: a computer, internet access and a credit card/debit card.

You don't need to have a product to start with. Like with many newbies, they start with affiliate marketing by selling other people's product for a commission. For every product they sell, they earn a percentage of the sale. Once you have found the niche market, you can start registering your domain name online before you look for products to sell.
