NIGERIA POEM: MABAYOJE

When on Thursday sunset
I walked tall
   Out of
The Academic Directors office
And there you were
With lucky a talking
Little did I know
I was sitting on a time bomb
That did explode
In your Mabayoje face
And did you know
You have a bayoje destiny
And you rocked
That destiny
That day
When I’ve known you
A most unethical talker
Who in sport and play
Is full of sexual students harassment
Selling handouts in all formS
Making mandatory student
Buy and sell your handout
Roof-leaking exam questions
In sexual exchange favoured
Maliciously coaxing colleagues
In the department
Where you’ve been encouraged
Not to
Hall jump assisting students
Stiffly treatment
On lines of ethno-political boundaries
This dovetails you
Into admission racketeering
Favouritism on grounds of
Sex or socialized status
Which on dawn’s day
Makes you first to arrive on campus
Andlast to leave cele-bus stop
With head-akimbo
In unethical
And unacceptable
Unprofessional codes of ethics
Mismanagement
Of hard earned opportunities
Which only yesterday
You begged to apply
And today baptizes
You in sexual adultery
But who would have known
He once foxy-friendly
Mabayoje is a clone
Whose mental neurosis
Is always sparking off
Misery
Mischief
Inordinate ambition
Sexual perversion
Monetary extortion
Putting on a form of religious cloak
In saintly prayer sessions
Which leaders of acada
Have put under foot mat
Which Mabayoje tries to hide?
Till comes tide
When Mabayoje will re-turn
Pancake factory
Where he rightly belongs
