POEM, ALAGBA HAS EATEN US BADLY

When on first run
      It was Alaka that
Our Co-ordinator was made
      Blatantly
He refused us allocations
Wet tails in between our legs
      Iyaha and Ganigu
Those age long legendary survivors
Didn’t bath an eyelid
Then they recall Alagba and Alonge
…till tides washed
Him on board once more
And he loaded me with insurance dept.
      Iyoha with crump
Until Adeniji and Ero-Phillips
Clamped down on insurance
To surulere we ‘re quickly dispatched
Promised rain of transport allowance
Galvanized our hindsights
Too wary as part-time lecturers to
Ask our twelve ‘ours  course allocation
Until conference marking
Made alaka axe us deeply
Less than half
      Given to Iyaha and ganiyu to share
But let Alaka know
That one bright summer morning
What happened to Brownson
Will re-dance its steps on Alaka.
