BEFORE, FASHION WAS ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE WEARING BUT PRESENTLY FASHION IS ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE NOT WEARING.

Dressing can either be provocative or decent. Provocative sexually, lustfully, rascally, immorally or otherwise. Do you know you can attract the wrong spirits by dressing provocatively. Dressing provocatively makes you a facilitator of the spirit of lust. Do not under dress, do not over-dress. Just be moderate, the bible instructed. People judge and address you the way you dress. What is covered is much more valued than what is exposed. fashion does not mean nudity. It only brings out your beauty. Don't dress provocatively and rascally and now say God sees the heart. Yes God looks at the heart, a decent heart will dress decently.

God is responsible for your beauty, but you are responsible for your attraction. Beauty fades but attraction is continuous. Now attraction is in two ways, we have positive and negative attraction. Dressing, make ups and jewelries enhances attraction either positively or negatively. The problem is that people go to the extremes on both ends. Some people don't dress well at all, they don't make up at all, they don't wear jewelries at all because they see it as bad. God is the owner of the silver and the gold. Haggi 2:8. He built the heavens with gold, it will not be out of place to wear gold. Putting on weavon is not bad, it only enhances attraction. But it should be moderate. Another set of people over dress as if their lives depend on it. But its better to be moderate. Some will even ask where it is written in the bible that one should put on Jewelries. Is it written in the bible that you should fly in an aeroplane, was aeroplane mentioned in the bible? Some people that don't wear make up feel that those wearing are going to hell, this is however self-righteousness which is like a filthy rag before God. They may not be wearing physical make ups, but they are already wearing negative make ups of the heart. Be moderate in all things. Be blessed in Jesus name. I really like your analysis on this dressing issue, personally I'm not jewelries wearing type or anything of that nature for now. I think people should wear what is considered appropriate in their culture as culture of people differ.
For example wearing of trousers by ladies are taboo in some parts of the world, why some parts is just fine and convenience mode of dressing.

This was a great post. Fashion has always been changing with a passage of time. Every time something new and eclectic comes up and makes way in the market. Like Leather Jackets
