How do you set a custom notification sound on the Mytouch 4g?

I wanted to add a music clip/sound effect for my mytouch 4g for the notification sound (texts, emails, etc..) How do you do this?If you're asking how to make the phone use it, from home screen: Menu > Settings > Sound > Notifications. Or in the messaging app you can go a similar path for just changing the text message tones.
