The people of Akwa Ibom State have been liberated from political slavery... Their minds have been shaped into demanding for dividends democracy from whoever mounts the podium irrespective of his|her political affiliations.
We deserve more as a state and as a people.
The Youths of the state have demanded for the Akwa Ibom State Youth Development Fund Bill from the PDP led administration. A bill which seeks to address the looming danger that could be caused by unemployment in the state.

Unfortunately, after the Public hearing, our politicians are busy seeking for a reelection instead of doing the necessary to better the lives of the youths of the state.
The twist in the whole story is that, the Peace and security we relatively enjoyed in the state is slowly fading away because a good number of young people now resort to all manners of petty crimes.
What we know hear in the state is,
Car battery theft,
Increase Prostitution,
Molestation, phone and laptop snatching around tertiary institutions, certain streets and plaza with the highest record of casualties.

Now, this is to the politicians who had the opportunity to correct this malady through their support and Legislations but opposed and stalled the process. How do you feel presently, especially as you could not secure a return ticket of your party? I know most of you are in the verge leaving your present party to the other party. But does it really solve anything?
How do you intend to relay the excuses to your people with no conscience or shame.

The truth of the matter is,you still have a little time to make a huge difference and walk out with your shoulders high...The time is now for you to collectively push for the passage of this #AKYDFBILL
And those who got their party ticket but are politicking with the process that would lead to the passage of this bill. Just get ready to surrender your mandate to "the would be choice of the people"

The people are watching and they are ready to throw off anyone who had performed below average.
