How to know if you are in the will of God or not
The will of God is the most perfect plan of God for your life. The mistakes we make in life are essentially caused by operating outside the will of God. God is more ready to guide you than you are eager to be guided. In your business, your marriage, your finances, your spiritual life. Life will be free from struggles when you begin to operate under Gods will.
Gods will is the master plan for the happenings all around you. Now many have ascribed everything that is unfavorable to them as not to be the will of God. They consider every pleasant thing as the will of God. But you see Gods ways are not our ways, His paths are different from ours. Isaiah 55 verses. 8. It is one thing to know the right thing and another thing to know the right time for that.
Mistakes are inevitable if you operate with your mind. Your mind is too poor to follow; you need Gods mind revealed to you. You are where you are today because of the availability of knowledge disposed to you. To move higher to a better place you need better sound decisions.
God can never be wrong. Whatever might be happening to you now that you don’t like is simply because you have not discovered Gods will. So without wasting your time I will be showing the simplest way to know Gods will.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DISCOVER THE WILL OF GOD.
1. YOUR HEART MUST BE RIGHT: This is where the problem lies; many people want to know the will of God without the right heart. Proverbs 4 vs. 23 says Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. Your heart must be right, it must be meek, obedient and word conscious. Abraham in the bible was Gods friend, He was Gods confidant, the reason was because his heart was right. Look at Moses, David they were all people with the right heart. A heart that will enjoy Gods secrets must be a heart free from pride, a heart ready to obey. A heart free from envy, a heart that rejoices always, a heart of worship to God, a heart that thanks God always for everything. Is your heart right? Do you always seek your interest or do you seek Gods interest? Pray this prayer as you read along tell God to give you a new heart. In 1st Samuel chapter 10 vs. 9, God gave Saul another heart and all His prophecies over Him came to pass that same day. I see God doing a quick work in your life in the name of Jesus. You will begin to hear His voice through your heart from now on.
2. YOU MUST STUDY THE BIBLE DAILY: The word of God is the will of God; it is the perfect master plan of God for you. You need Gods will everyday, but unfortunately many people do not take out time to study the bible every day. It takes daily study to find out Gods will, just study. I will say it yet another time, just study the word of God. Now the reason people don’t study the bible is because they don’t have a plan for it. You have a plan to go to work; you have a plan to eat, a plan to carry out your pursuit but how come you don’t have a plan to study the word where you will discover the plan and purpose for the day. God is not a haphazard God. You need to be consistent with this daily study to find out the will of God concerning that issue in your heart. The devil knows what you have to gain by consistent study or lose by neglecting the word due to distractions. Please put him to shame by studying vehemently. Plan it out set out a time and the number of scriptures to go through everyday. You have no plan for it, no wonder you have no time for it. You can begin with two chapters every morning, before you know it you will start hearing God clearly as you hear your friend. He will speak to your heart because your heart is now stuffed up with His word.
If you follow this little step, you will easily discover Gods will, you won’t need to struggle because it is not hard to know Gods will just follow this instruction. Jesus is real; the Holy Ghost is ready to guide you. As you do this I see God guiding you through out your life time.
You will know who to marry, you will know what to invest your money and your time on, you will never make mistake. The beginning of mistakes in life is the failure to diligently study Gods word. Your past mistakes shall be converted to miracles; you will begin to live your life as if problems do not exist.
THIS IS HOW THE VOICE OF GOD SOUNDS.
There are three voices contending for our attention everyday. The voice of God, the voice of your mind and then the voice of the devil. How then do you know which is which.
1. The voice of God is calm and peaceful
2. The voice of God does not force, He advises shows you in His word, then leaves you to make your choice.
3. The voice of God is patient, He is never in haste.
4. The voice of God most of the time speaks from your heart.
5. The voice of God is always confirmed, He sends confirmation on the bases of the word.
6. The voice of the lord is suiting
7. The voice of God most times is at the opposite direction from your mind, except your mind is stuffed with his words.
8. The voice of God is always on time, never a second late
9. Sometimes when God speaks He might not explain, but when you take the first step of obedience, He gives you the full detailed explanation.
10. You may not have immediate peace when God suggests something to you,but you will eventually have permanent peace as you obey.
11. All God wants from you is obedience then He will prove that He never fails.
12. The word of God is the cleaner that makes the voice of God clearer, so my counsel is this; keep studying.
