I'm not sure I completely agree

trust in God is not like pushing the right buttons.... hope in God not in wealth or healing..   it may come but it's not first
'seek first the kingdom of God then all these things will be added to you'

I think if you truly trust in God first,  the peace will come next
but trusting carries with it willingness to obey and follow 'wisdom'  in the opening chapters of Proverbs for example
