The main function of the kidney is to remove waste products from the body and convert them into urine. A kidney transplant is necessary in case of kidney failure. Some general instructions have to be followed before going to the hospital. There is a very basic need that do not drink or eat anything for the prescribed hours. Make sure that you take each of your prescribed medicines. Also, make sure that you take all the results of your previous tests and hospital papers. At the transplant center, you will undergo some basic investigations. Even if they were done earlier, make sure that you undergo these check-ups, as they will confirm that new conditions have not developed since the previous check-up.
