Change in market opening time

Dear clients,

Please be informed that on October 26, 2015, the trading session will be opened 1 hour later, at 01:00 UTC+3.

This change is pertaining to Europe's transition to winter time, while the United States is supposed to switch to it one week later.

Starting from November 2, 2015, after the trading server is switched to winter time, the trading week will begin as usual, at 00:00 on Monday.

Please take this fact into account and make changes to your trading strategies if necessary.

Miss Insta Asia 2015 winners awarded

The award ceremony for winners of the online beauty contest Miss Insta Asia 2015 took place at the VI annual InstaForex conference in Moscow on October 31.

According to the results of the online voting, podium places were shared as follows:

Darya Turaeva (Russia), USD 20,000 – 1

Ekaterina Starkova (Russia), USD 10,000 – 2

Elena Sandulyak (Ukraine), USD 5,000 – 3

In addition, two more contestants were traditionally awarded the special titles receiving a certificate for USD 5,000 each. Gorgeous Adriána Janisková who came from Slovakia took the Insta Choice title, and charming Ekaterina Rogozhina from Ukraine became the Forex Lady.

The festive award ceremony perfectly lightened the business atmosphere of the Forex conference attracting a crowd of spectators. Both guests and participants loudly applauded the winners who were the highlights of the evening.

Liverpool in Kazan: InstaForex clients enjoyed Europa League match

An ordinary day in Kazan, November 5, was marked by an outstanding event for football fans. That day, the Europa League game between Rubin Kazan and Liverpool FC was played at the Kazan Arena stadium. The UK team arrived in Russia headed by new manager Jurgen Klopp. Of course, we could not miss such an event and decided to make a surprise for our largest clients in Tatarstan's capital and nearby cities inviting them to a buffet in our Kazan office. But the biggest surprise was the meeting with Liverpool FC ambassadors Ben Latty and Mark Rollins.

Then, the guests were driven to the game. After the 11 tie in Liverpool, the teams were focused on a victory. The match was intense. InstaForex clients and representatives as well as the company's UK partners were watching the game keenly, cheering their favorites.

Despite the brilliant performance of the goalkeeper, Rubin Kazan lost 01 to Liverpool. The Reds arrived in Kazan and showed that the tie at Anfield was just a coincidence. Liverpool played an amazing game and probably due to pouring rain failed to score more goals. Still, UK fans were happy with the result and InstaForex clients received unforgettable impressions on the superb game and wonderful evening.

Dear traders,
Please pay attention to some changes in trading hours during Christmas and New Year holidays from December 24th, 2015 to January 4th, 2016.

December 24th - early close at 20:00;

December 25th - market is closed for Christmas Day;

December 28th, 29th, 30th - trading is performed during normal trading hours;

December 31st - early close at 20:00; option trading is not available this day;

January 1st - market is closed for New Year's Day;

January 4th - trading is performed during normal trading hours.

Besides, from December 23rd, 2015 to January 4th, 2016, the company reserves the right to limit new deals opening on such groups of financial instruments as ForexCrosses 4 and 5. However, traders can close already opened deals on a regular basis.

Success with InstaForex: company’s clients closed more than 200,000 winning trades on Brexit news.

On June 23, 2016 the Britons voted in the referendum on whether the UK should remain or leave the European Union.

The outcome came as a surprise to most market players in Forex. On the day when Brexit was declared, InstaForex clients closed more than 200,000 winning trades on GBP, thus gaining total profit of over $6 million.

Hedging now available on MT5

Dear Traders!

You now have an opportunity to choose either a hedging or netting arrangement when opening an account for trading via MetaTrader 5 platform. MT5 accounts were originally created for exchange trading based on the netting system. This implies that a trader can only have one position opened on a given financial instrument at one time, and all subsequent operations on the asset will lead to a change of volume, closure, or reversal of the deal.

The new version of MetaTrader 5 now features the hedging system. It enables traders to open as many orders on a specified trading instrument as they like, including opposite positions. That way you can apply locking strategies, i.e. open an order in the opposite direction if you are already running a losing deal.

Both hedging and netting accounts have certain benefits. Before MetaQuotes Software Corp. added the hedging feature to MT5, traders who preferred hedging could only use the MT4 platform. From now on, hedging has been made available to MetaTrader 5 users as well.

Bank of Russia provides InstaForex with new information on Russian license

Following Russia's Forex legislation introduced in January 2016, InstaForex submitted a set of documents required by the Bank of Russia to apply for a Forex dealer's license. The application has been considered by the Bank of Russia. Next week, InstaForex is awaiting a list of formal remarks and comments from the regulator. The company will fulfil all requirements and present the amended package of documents to obtain the license.
Thanks to a Forex dealer's license from the Bank of Russia, every client will be able to choose to be served under the Russian jurisdiction.
