The 18th Shanghai International Boating Show(hereinafter refer to as SIBS) was held on 11th April,2013 as scheduled. Through years’ development, SIBS has become the biggest boating show in Asian water leisure market, in terms of scale and history. However, compared with last several years’number of visitors and importers,  this year’s boating show is undoubtedly pushing exhibitors into a cold winter.

Although the economy crisis stopped steps of over-seas importers, it can not stop more and more Chinese manufacturers into outboard engine industry. Like mushrooms after rain, many new outboard engine brands showed themselves in this boating show, which makes many over-seas importers hard to choose. Prices is undoubtedly important, but quality is the most powerful guarantee to make importers buy.
   
 Surprisingly, ZONGSHEN outboard is still reassuring home and abroad importers and buyers with insisting on its principle-quality top priority, which differs from emerging brands and those who copy others’ brands. By virtue of years of experience in manufacture of outboard engines moulds from Italy Selva and professional and sophisticated production level from ZONGSHEN Industrial Group, ZONGSHEN outboard engine has gradually built up its image of top quality in this market, among numerous of regular customers and new buyers.

    In terms of extension of Chinese outboard range, we noticed that part exhibitors showcased T60HP model and even T90HP model, but professionals know T40HP model is the only mature biggest model range. From the professional point of view, bigger model has more elaborate demand for its core technology, of which is what most manufacturers lack in finish machining. There is still a long way in seeking breakthrough of big horsepower range technology, and this is why some Chinese manufacturers,like ZONGSHEN, choose to joint-venture with over-seas senior brands.
     
     Outboard engines industry has much more demand for quality compared with other mechanical industry. Because many customers have such bad experience as they can not return safely from far sea due to poor quality of outboard engines. So it is top priority to strengthen on quality,both to manufacturers and customers, for the matter of safety.   

 SIBS has witnessed Chinese outboard engine industry growth out of nothing.
