Halter dress does not work for every woman’s body shape. Women with hourglass shapes or straight bodies can easily pull off the halter style. Avoid such dress styles if you are pear-shaped. Because the halter dress is somewhat triangular in shape and it has a narrow top and a wider bottom. A halter dress on a pear-shaped figure doubles the triangle effect, accentuating the width of the hips and the narrowness of the neck and chest area.
