A Trade fair, also known as a presentation of the goods or market week, an exhibition or a business meeting organized by the companies that display and demonstrate their new products and services and their latest offerings. Trade shows also provide opportunities for companies to satisfy their customers, to understand new trends and to identify potential new customers.

Trade shows are not open to the public and can only be attended by company representatives, professionals and members of the press. One of the advantages of holding a fair is that it shortens the time needed for companies to find potential customers. But the biggest drawback is that customers and prospects of paying little attention to the many exhibitors and their products because of the many distractions and lively atmosphere inherent in trade fairs.
