I want to clarify the myth about MLM and scams. MLM is a marketing strategy that some companies have used to sell their products/ services. MLM was passed as legal in the USA in 1979 . Many legal cases have been witnessed but the system has been proved over and over to be legal.

That said it is true many companies have used the MLM approach to con many of their money. Many companies have also misused the system to gain unfairly from people this is especially by lying in telling people how assured it is to make quick easy money. This is preaching a fallacy. Many fail to get the quick money and instead say the system is a scam. Failing in a system does not mean the system is wrong, the approach is what is wrong.

In summation, MLM is not a scam but can be easily used to scam.

Yes, I agree with you mlm isn't a scam but has been abused by many.
Personally I don't like getting involve in something that I don't have absolute control on.
There are still good ones anywhere.
