When you go online or see ads for electronics stores will probably be able to find a team that will be right for you. There are many types and styles available in the market. You can find a team that will be a room in your house while you can also find a computer that fits in the palm of your hand! In business, you will probably find a central computer. In your workplace or at home which is usually a desktop computer. At the airport, the person sitting next to you could be working on a laptop or handheld computer. Therefore, when you are looking for a computer for personal use, you know you have much choice.

In search of a home computer, now called a personal computer, you will find that consists of several parts. There will be a box sitting at your desk, black, gray or beige. This is the real team, with everything from the microprocessor to memory, storage devices, input / output. No one can work only with the "team" alone, however. There are accessories that go along with the computer and the monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Other accessories can be found printers and digital video cameras.

If you want to buy a computer it is good to know that there are two different categories of equipment: PCs and Macs.

- A PC is a component model and the standards developed by IBM. A fairly high percentage of all personal computers, shown somewhere over 90% are PCs. Some companies that sell PCs are IBM, Dell, Compac, and Gateway.

- A Mac is a personal computer made by Apple Society. Macintosh was the most popular style of the computer several years ago. The new iMacs are popular among die-hard Mac fans, but not as many people use Macs today as before.

A personal computer in your home can be used for many things, including word processing tasks, writing personal and business letters, financial records and planning, Internet search, photography, and many other types of functions such as design graphic and editorial. For younger readers, a personal computer can also be used for listening to music, watching movies or playing video games details.

The basic elements of your personal computer you choose, as the processor, the amount of RAM drives, diskettes or CD-ROM, hard drive, sound card, speakers, monitor, modem and graphics card will be determined by the type of computer user is going to be. heavy users of complex programs requires much more "stuff" on your computer that the average user. Once you have determined how much of everything you need, you will be able to calculate an average cost for the equipment you want.
