Digital photography has exploded, exceeding all projected figures and many of us have one or more of these great devices, but one of the basic values ??of the picture is lost in the transfer of the film in digital cameras.

Research shows that most digital photos are not printed or published in any way, instead of billions of photos sitting on computers and memory cards from around the world, hidden in cyberspace.

This is a very sad view photographs go through friends, family and the generations has been a tradition for many years, that reminds us of our ancestors and memories of times past. Photographs become important with age and is a pleasure in perusing old photos. Remember that it is not always possible to see the pictures held in digital media today, and that progress can bring back the kind of support and compatibility for reading. We must not overlook the importance of both actual copies of our precious digital snaps.

The main reason for our reluctance to print digital photos are the complications seen in printing a digital print quality, but with digital photo kiosks, photo printers affordable and easy to use software, it's really not that hard. It is perfectly possible for the novice user to produce high quality prints from your digital camera pictures using the printer at home.

In general, to obtain an image from your digital camera to the printer usually involves the following steps:
1. Copy images from the camera to a folder on your computer.
2. Load your printer software and select images to print.
3. Select the size and paper type you are using (always use photo paper).
4. Print your photos.

A great new feature in many of the latest cameras and printers cut right down process. PictBridge printing system is probably the easiest way to get the pictures from your camera for photo paper. This system is based on both a PictBridge compatible printer and a PictBridge compatible camera, while the newer photo printers on the market cameras have PictBridge standard - but it's worth checking if you are about to buy a printer or a camera.

The system can print directly from PictBridge camera to the printer without using a computer. You can select photos, size and quantity, all from the screen of the camera and the printing process with a button!

The great thing about printing your own pictures, is that you have total control of the election, and discretion. You can print as many copies as you wish, choose different sizes and finishes and the use of photo editing software, you can set your photos as a darkroom technician, or be creative! In fact, half the fun of digital photography is what you can do with photo printing.
