Is your computer running slowly? It takes 15 minutes to boot? Computers can make people very frustrated when they do what you want them to do, computers that run slow are basically useless.

There are many reasons why computer run slow ...

Spyware! What is it? What to do for my team?

A simple definition of Spyware: A general term used to describe software that performS certain behaviors such as advertising, collecting personal information or change the settings on your computer, generally without appropriately obtaining your consent.

Spyware is often associated with software that displays advertisements (called ad ware) or software that tracks personal or sensitive information. The most common type of spyware is the pop banners that never stops! You close, and keep coming back. I'm sure we've all had this problem once. Spyware in a nutshell, it basically makes your computer run really slow. Once the computer is infected, the software typically uses your Internet connection to download more.

The team 'Hardware' may be the problem!

This is probably not the problem with the computer, but it must be mentioned, as it could be the problem. After you have removed the spyware and removes the virus that may have, if the computer is still slow, then it's time to take your computer to a qualified technician to see if you have a hardware problem. Check if you have at least 512meg of memory. These are the specifications of RAM recommended for Windows XP, some older systems have 256meg of memory and this is not enough if you run several programs. If you are running the new Windows Vista, I recommend at least 1gig (1024meg) of RAM.
