FEW CHANGES IN AFRICATOPFORUM, OCT 14-2011

AfricaTopForum has over 240,000 members worldwide and more than 600 members joining on daily basis.

Below are few changes in the forum:
1.Moderators are now called BOARD CAPTAINS (They are in charge of moderating specific board in the forum, this position is by merit such as time spent on forum, quality posts and contributions)
2.Global Moderator is now called GLOBAL CAPTAIN (They moderate and administer all the boards in the forum, they do all the BOARD CAPTAIN JOBS and beyond, this position is by appointment)
3. You have option to change your display name to whatever you like, if you change new name your initial name will only be used for login purpose but can’t be display on posts you make, your new name will be displaying instead.
To do this login, click profile> Account related setting> you will see “Name:
This is the displayed name that people will see”  change your desire name there, and  move down to click Change profile. For security reason you will ask to put your password to finish.
4. We just started publishing of Adsense ad on the forum, you will see this ad on top of boards, child board, posts, after post and button of pages, clicking on any interesting ad get us paid. This is first time of such as before now all the adverts displaying on the forum are owned by Board Captains as a way of adding value for their contribution to the community.
5. We have added Kenya and Uganda jobs opportunities boards for companies and jobs seeking candidates. This is an opportunity for Companies in Kenya and Uganda to post their recruitment and job vacancies in AfricaTopForum.
