Ice Pick Headaches

I'm 19/female and have been diagnosed with ice pick headaches. I get short (from 1 second to, at longest, 15 minute, usually about 3-7 second) bursts of intense pain (about 5-9 on 1-10 scale) several times daily (from 2 to about 16, noramlly around 8 a day).
