Hi everyone!

It's no secret to anyone that Africa has a high crime rate. I intend to soon go to one of the African countries, and therefore I want to ask, does it make sense for me and my family to take with them personal alarms?
Here, in the USA, there is already a positive personal experience of use, but I'm not sure if it will work abroad.

First, Africa is a continent and has atleat 54 countries in it. Your judgement of the situation depends on the country you are going in Africa.
Concerning  personal alarms working, your service provider (monitoring centrer) is in a better position to answer your question whether it will work in the Africa's countries you intend to visit or not.
