Ever since I was about nine years old, I suffered from horrible headaches. They continued as I got older. They were diagnosed as sinus, hormones, & migraine. Nothing but ice packs, and maybe Fiorinol with codeine, helped. The headaches followed the same pattern, and each one was usually a little worse than the last: I would wake up with a hard pain behind one of my ears and a very stuffy nose. At that point, I knew the day was shot. I couldn't stand light, sound, or smell. I felt clammy, and nasty/nauseated, but it wouldn't go any farther. By late afternoon, I felt a little better and would crave aspirin, caffeine, & chocolate. The next day I would be totally wiped out. I went through years of this.
