Nigerians have been warned to parboil beans and rice, throw away the water and use another water to finish the cooking.


Nigerian Minister of Agriculture Audu Ogbe is reported to have said that Hausa farmers allegedly use sniper to preserve their beans.


Sniper is a very highly acidic chemical capable of killing anything that comes in contact with it, including human beings.


Nigerians are advised to wash thoroughly and parboil all grains and cereals before cooking, and wash all fresh fruits before eating them.
