10 Secrets To Improving Your Websites Conversion Ratio

According to the so-called experts, a decent conversion ratio is right around one percent. In other words, one out of every hundred visitors to your website becomes a sale.

Personally, I think we should ignore what the experts say, and strive for high conversion ratio as high as possible. You should never be satisfied. You should always be looking for ways to improve your conversion ratio. My website consistently converts anywhere from 3 to 5 percent, and often becomes as high as ten percent!

Unless you're selling an expensive item and making £ 200 or more per sale, is extremely difficult to make real money with only a one percent conversion rate.

Of course there are exceptions to every rule, and if your website is attracting hundreds or even thousands of visitors a day, then obviously you can do quite well with one percent or lower conversion rate.

But what if you do not have that kind of traffic - and most websites do not. So what? What if you are selling a £ 20 e-book and is only attracting hundreds of visitors a day to your website? With a one percent conversion, which means that your website is doing a measly 20 pounds per day. And believe me, I'm much more common than you realize.

But what if you could improve your conversion rate to 3 percent, 5 percent, suddenly, you're making £ 60 to £ 100 per day with the same amount of traffic. Improve your conversion ratio to ten percent and rapes, that £ 100 per day is converted to 200 pounds a day!

So how do you go about improving your conversion rate website? Here are some tips that may help:

1. Make sure your visitors know what you do, that the snapshot of the earth on its website. I do not have to guess. Tell them right up front with a title loaded with benefits.

2. Make sure your website design is up to, which is easy to navigate. Get rid of distracting flash or stupid, meaningless graphics that are a waste of everyone's time and take forever to load, Simplify your website. Get rid of the flash, graphics and pop-ups!

3. Use psychologically effective colors. The blue color indicates the reliability, quality, success, seriousness, calmness - the perfect choice for sales pages. Avoid purple, which connotes uncertainty and ambiguity, and only use yellow to highlight key words and phrases. Also, try to have as much white space as possible. This makes it a much cleaner, easier to read website.

4. Get your own domain name. URL containing names like "Geocities", "Angelfire" or "Tripod" fans have written about them.

5. Demonstrate what you say. Back up your claims with facts cold, hard, indisputable and verifiable

6. Put your name, phone number and web site address

7. Use authentic customer testimonials, with names and surnames. Just make sure customers get their permission first.

8. We guarantee fair and reasonable refund. Thirty days is good. Sixty or ninety days are better!

9. Make it easy for customers to pay. They offer a variety of payment options. I can assure you, if you are using PayPal only, which is losing sales. There are plenty of people out there, myself included, and that just will not do business with PayPal. Too much of a hassle!

10. And last but not least, make sure you have a sales letter powerful. A strong sales letter can blast your earnings effective in the upper stratosphere!
