Blogs are a popular way of promoting your product or service. They are easy to install, easy to administer and easy to update. And search engines love it too. But what is a blog without traffic? Exactly. Here are five quick ways to drive traffic to your blog and start seeing big sales.

1.Build a list of blog services to ping
There are plenty of blog services you can ping. This means that you notify this service that you've updated your blog. These services then list their new posts and get traffic from them. I made a list of 50 + blog services you can ping my site. These lists are also available if you search on Google or other search engine for it. This should be enough to jump-start your traffic.

2.Add buttons to popular news readers
What does this mean? Well, there are sites like Yahoo or Google or Bloglines, etc, which have a membership area where you can select sites with RSS feeds for the latest updates from different blogs. That way you can get the latest updates say 50 blogs listed on one page. I have a list of these popular pages on my website, plus buttons that connect to them. Users can easily add my blog to your news reader members area.

3.Update content regularly
Search engines and blog services love regular updates. It is likely that you will get targeted traffic from search engines, if you post regularly. That means you should make a new post in your blog at least once a day. But be careful. Too many changes a day can damage the position of the search engines and shock. What is too many? 10 or more.

4. Post in the forums
Post in the forums, but not spam. Post something fresh and interesting, and put a link to your blog in your signature. Do not just post in any forum. For example, if you are selling cds, post in the forums that the music and cds. Do not post in car forums if you are selling furniture. By posting on the forums will have one-way links that are good for the position of the search engines search engines like google or yahoo or msn.

5.Submit to blog search engines
There are masses of available search engines, blogs that single list. Just Google for "blog search engines" and you should find at least 20 of them. These blog search engines will help you with targeted traffic. Be sure to write a good title and a good description of your blog, for people to easily find and click its link.

Follow these 5 steps and you will start seeing a lot of traffic to your blog. And waited so long sales start coming in. And do not forget to update your blog with fresh unused content that you write.

Social networking offers a good chunk of traffic to the Facebook pages related to your site and keep updating their fanpage fans Fb new things in place in the short term, continue to publish all that is updated on the website that will attract the attention of their fans to the website ..

1. Linking of blog in niche blogs and directories
2. Submission of blog in high PR directories
3. Bookmarking of blog in popular social bookmarking websites
4. Use of useful and unique content in blog
5. Marketing of blog in social networks
