Over the years we have heard a lot about how to give your web site more value. At first everyone said to put a lot of interesting information on your site and would be a stampede of visitors come your way.

Then we were told to dress our sites and blogs with logos, graphics and photos. That contributed to the traffic, too.

Finally we were told to give their sites all the right keywords to bring the best in search engine traffic. At this point, the technique has been used almost everywhere it can be.

Now the Internet is moving into a different phase. Increasingly, tourist attractions are the use of video to increase its value and put in a lot of traffic. Think about the last time I logged into Amazon or CNN. Most likely were greeted with a professional-looking video that launched the site and sent a piece of film or story.

In the past you would have to hire a video producer to create, process, host, and after your video, all at a cost of thousands of dollars. But not anymore.

Now you can have the same kind of professional video on your site or blog for a price that fits any budget. It is relatively easy to create using inexpensive equipment commonly sold for home use.

What should your site or blog video?

* Interview with an expert yourself or with information that visitors will find interesting.

* A demonstration of how to use your product or service.

* A high technology, and entertain your eBook or an instructional CD.

We live in an era of television, when most people prefer to watch a video that shows you how to do something rather than having to read about or hear someone say about
that.

A video which offers a much higher and much better informed customer base. When people really understand what you are offering and what you can do for them, so sales (often at a higher price) is much easier.
