With the growing popularity of Internet more and more people communicate by email. This quick and effective method of communication is perhaps the preferred method of online communication in the present with thousands upon thousands of emails sent every day. The many uses of email are what make it so appealing and so versatile. Whether you are sending a greeting to a grandparent or sending files to a coworker, you can easily use email to do so.

E-mail has come a long way since its introduction, however, is still used for many of the same reasons. basic electronic communication has essentially evolved into a resource tool as you have the ability to do much more now, then once could. Along with the usual files and sending text messages via email, you can send greeting cards, manage your emails by folders or assignment to classify as spam and even organize and manage their daily tasks in some servers e-mail.

This wonderful tool is not without its downside, however. Some people choose to send worms and viruses via email and in the process of infecting and damaging a lot about computers. An email virus may often be very difficult to detect, especially for someone with little knowledge of computer viruses and how they work. If you notice that you have an anonymous email or an email with a strange name for you, then you may want to open this email it's probably a virus and the mere fact of opening the email makes your computer susceptible to infection.

Along with the privacy of the aforementioned problems has also become an issue with e-mail activity. Virtually every email you send has to go through a series of computers before reaching the inbox of the intended recipient and on the way there is a distinct possibility that an individual can hack into your e-mail and read it. Therefore, it is imperative that you have a bullet-proof password.
