As more and more people are getting their own web page or pages, advertisers have learned to make contact with the public to visit the pages. And not just random either currently are no programs that specifically target advertisements to the site the person viewing. They are called contextual advertising programs, as they search through the context and content of a page and identify keywords. The return of the ads on that page that the program believes it would be important and interesting to the viewer. For example, if you are visiting a web site about low fat recipes, you can find ads for products low in fat or weight loss products.

Web site owners are not the only ones using this form of advertising to generate revenue. You can find these types of ads on search engine pages themselves. For example, Google, ads appear in a column on the right of the search results page. The keywords you enter in the search box is used to target ads to you. Advertisers expect the brief announcement that the offer will attract to your site, which we hope will be to find your product or use their services.

Website owners can now earn money by allowing advertisers to place contextual ads on their websites. The more people visit and click on the ads, the more money that advertisers will pay to the owner of the web. Many web site owners a substantial flow of revenue from these programs. However, the ads have to be well targeted to get people to click. That's why now there is much enthusiasm about a new contextual advertising program being tested and prepared for market. Anyone making money on contextual advertising is waiting to see if the Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) product will return better results than the main product of Google Adsense.

For the moment, YPN is still in beta. A group of users were invited to try the product and comments on blogs and publications across the web are somewhat consistent in one respect. From now on, it seems that YPN is not returning ads that are as relevant as they are finding Adsense users. For example, a blogger reported that a website on PHP programming, YPN ads returned a florist and a provider of telephone services. The blogger could not understand what words the YPN program picked for the florist. But it was the word "hello" apparently said that ads on phone service.

In addition, some users have complained that YPN does not seem to update income and visitor information as often as Adsense. So website owners to wait to see if changes have been thrilled visitors they receive. However, although none of the programs will be announced payment plans until you register as a user, it seems that YPN is paying more per click from Adsense. But the feeling is that payments will be made more attractive time for website owners to switch from Adsense to YPN, but then the prices are equal. Some argue that ultimately does not matter if YPN pays more if they can improve their relevant ads because they see the number of clicks from visitors to see a real difference in your income.

As YPN is being tested, they are getting the views and comments of participants. So in time, the service can be improved. However, competition for Adsense is a healthy thing. Both companies will be forced to continually strive to improve their services and offers for webmasters can still benefit from a healthy flow of revenue in the future.
