On page factors

All these factors relate to your own website and include your domain name, page names, meta tags, keyword density, titles, headers and content of the last but not least.

If you know how to optimize this, you will improve your chances for a better ranking. But remember, there is no guarantee that the exact formula (algorithm) used by search engines is unknown and changes frequently.

* Domain Name - It should contain the key phrase that describes your place and not a script. for example, www.cokoye.com

* Names of the page - Each page should be dedicated to a specific topic that relates to the theme. Keyword (s) that best describe this to retrieve the name of the page (the scripts are good for this). for example, www.cokoye.com/society-discussions-forums/

* Meta Tags - These are the HTML tags contained in the head section of your page. You should include your keyword (s) near the beginning of each of these labels. The text of the title tag and description tag should be compelling, as this is what the visitor sees on the results page and will influence your decision to click.

There is debate about the benefits of the placement of keywords in the keyword tag, but can not do any harm if you put them all at once.

* Keyword Density - There are no fixed rules for this, but the keyword (s) must appear in content between 1% and 3% of the time. For example, if your content is 500 words, keyword (s) must appear between 5 and 15 times. Too high density could be seen as spam.

* Titles and Headings- Put your keywords or derived from the titles and subtitles confirms the importance of your keyword in your page. The use of H1 and H2 tags for this purpose may also help.

* Content - The rule of thumb is to write unique quality content for your visitors. If you get this right, you have a good chance of keeping some of the search engines happy for some time. Rather keep your visitors happy 100% of the time! If you've done your research and maintains the content of the topic, you should automatically produce a good mix of keywords related to the subject and keyword density.

A good idea is to get some help in the form of step by step instructions and training videos specifically designed for beginners.
