If you want to improve your search engine rankings, then you need to pay attention to keywords. Keywords are what lead to the search engine users to your site. Choosing the right keywords is very important. But how can you find the best keywords for your website? Well, there are some free tools you can use.

Take a piece of paper and write down key words that relate to your business. Carefully analyze your business and think of keywords that relate to your company or product. Ask your friends what keywords are searched if they are looking for products like yours.

Try to avoid common words, it is necessary to focus on specific keywords. More specific your keywords are more than likely it is that your potential customers to find.

When you have your list of possible keywords, you can try to figure out which ones are most popular and try to focus optimizing your search engine key words. There are some good tools you can use here.

Remember that people often misspell the words, which may also include some misspelled words.

The first is the sandbox of Google AdWords keywords https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox .
Send your keywords and get a list of popular queries that include the keyword and a list of similar keywords to consider.

The second tool is the tool for Overture Keyword Selector. It shows related search term and the number of times the term was searched on last month.
