The fuss over duplicate content has been happening for quite some time, and I see it as just another plan to make money online by employers who want to pursue the golden goose. Almost every day, my inbox is flooded with another article converter "that is guaranteed to make my private label rights articles hit the top of search engines without fear of Google Police knocking at the door of my band, shouting "Duplicate Content!"

I ofttimes wonder how many of the so-called gurus take the time to actually read the Google Adsense Program Policies. And I wonder many times during my working day how many people open their wallets to let their hard earned money to these people.

Here are the exact words of Google, and I quote: "Do not create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content. "What does this really tell us?" We said that the sites that sell thousands PLR of the same items to people who do not have time - or are too lazy - to write their own content are breaking the rules Google? It is not difficult. Google is telling us we can not create what used to be called "mirror sites" (This is a website that contains the same information found elsewhere. Abc.com If the site is the same def.com then be disqualified from the list of search engines) in an attempt to increase the Page Rank and increase revenue from Adsense.

Many opinions abound in the forums and elsewhere on the web discuss duplicate content. And netrepeneurs many have taken advantage of the misunderstanding of Google's policies to take advantage of this. Since Google has made this was the content, everyone is involved in online communities are struggling to get the right answers. I see that discussions are three to five pages long in the forums most popular among people agonizing over their fear of duplicate content. What a field day for the guru! I wonder how many thousands - perhaps millions - have been made by people who take advantage of this fear factor?

Let's examine the facts. If there really was a duplicate content filter then many news websites that publish AP or Reuters would prohibit the search engines. Many sites list it would go under, because they sell the same products, using them as promotional items elsewhere. affiliate sites would be banned from the search engines because people use promotional materials provided by the site owners. And even the giant eBay would be low, because anyone who has spent the time you see a lot of items listed that are identical, with the same description, the same images, and the same user ID. I wonder what Copyscape.com handle this?

What about sites that put articles and reviews in the archive. This content ends up being displayed in both static pages and files as well. Penalized for duplicate content when the web site owner wants to have their articles available to the general public? I doubt it ...

Common sense is the order of the day. If you take the time to offer original and unique content to your site, the site is well optimized for search engines and relevant backlinks you have, then your site will do well, without fear of sanction.

Do not use scrapers article, which reflect the exact content of other sites, and no more than a scam. If you buy PLR articles, trying to etch their own unique voice. If your budget allows, hire a ghost writer to create articles relevant to your particular niche. And above all, just use common sense!
