Almost everyone has probably heard of AdSense by now, but I'm pretty sure you've seen from AdSense and may have even known what it was. To account for AdSense, I must first tell you a little about 'AdWords', Adwords is a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising system that is available through the search engine Google. To create a small text ad that is placed on the pages of Google search result, ads for its purpose or content of websites. You bid or set a rate that is willing to pay Google every time someone clicks on your ad, this is a great way to get highly targeted traffic that can turn into sales, subscribers, or what you are trying to achieve with your website traffic.

Now that I have explained Adwords, I can tell you about AdSense. AdSense allows website owners to earn money by simply letting Google place ads on their websites. AdSense ads can be text or images, the ads can be altered to blend into web pages, so do not make your site look addict or poorly designed. AdSense ads are highly relevant to the content of most web pages, for example, if you place AdSense ads on a website that sells coins, you will receive notices on sales of coins or other currency-related issues. Each time a visitor clicks on a web page for AdSense ads on your website, you earn money, and every month after your first balance reaches one hundred dollars, Google will send a check or you can have money deposited in your checking account. The AdSense program is a great way to earn extra money if you have a website, it is easy to make a few dollars each day, and some people are making thousands of dollars a month to do so.

When I started Adsense, I've put ads on my website and it was not long until I had done a small amount of money, a few days later my account balance had grown even more. I was very happy, but I told myself, after reading a lot of articles, I'm doing almost all the money that others are doing with AdSense, something must be wrong. Then I thought, maybe my website does not get the traffic that other people find? I chatted with a lot of people on the internet that were in the program, and found that the number of visitors was higher than the traffic they receive. You may think that 200 to 400 unique visitors a day is low for web site traffic, you're wrong, the site receives an average much less a day, especially if your website is only a few months or not optimized for search engines, is wanted or has a very low demand.

If my site has been getting a lot of traffic or visitors, why my AdSense earnings so low? I first discovered what was wrong was "AdSense ad placement ', that is, you have to study design of each website which plans to place ads. Whenever your webpage has sections or areas that grab the attention of visitors, this is a key element to a section of AdSense ads, ie place the ads on their websites where people will notice. We are currently authorized to place up to three different AdSense ad sections or groups within each site. I found after some evidence that the best places for the ads are just below the title or subtitle, about half of the page, and near the end or the end of my page. If you place a section of AdSense ads on the top of its website, people go to their site, you probably will notice the ads, and if you scroll down and theres a more ads, which increases the chances of notice them too. Probably the best place to place a classified section in the bottom of its website, immediately after their last piece of text or interesting reading, but be sure to place the ads before any other links, because when visitors are willing to leave your site, they can leave by clicking on one of your ads, make money, and if you have other links showing before the ads can leave your site by clicking one of them. So after studying the design of all my webpages, I went back through and repositioned the AdSense ads, almost immediately I noticed my increased income.

I left my webpages alone, and about three months later I received my first check in the mail, was not much money, but still well do physical labor was very happy to do so. My income slowly started getting better and better after the first check, I received another check next month, next month I got another and so on. Having been in the AdSense program for about 8 months and talking to more people who were also in the program I found that my income is still low compared with other people.

Then I discovered another method that increased my earnings even more. I realized that my ad stood out from the rest of my text and Web content. I always thought, I make my ads in a different color to my training website so that people would see my ad, and click on them, I was totally wrong. Almost everyone who has been on the Internet for any length of time has become so accustomed to seeing banners and other flashy ads that almost everyone now has what is called "ad blindness", ie when visit a site that is automatically activated off or ignore anything that looks like an ad. I used the editor and I changed my Adsense ads background and border colors that matched the background color of my webpages, and I changed the color of text ads that matched the color of the text of my content web pages. The ads blend well, to me they were barely discernible from the rest of my site, but immediately the number of clicks on the ads on the rise, and revenues rose further.

I left my webpages alone and for another couple of months my income remained more or less the same, I was happy with the results, but my income was not yet as good as some of the other people who received the same amount of traffic I did. Then I found out I had done more for your AdSense ads, something that made the ads seem to really care for the people, who were placing images near the ads, it seemed that the addition of images makes the ads look and helped only the number of clicks on them instead. So I searched online and found some little icons and images that match the content of my web pages, and near where the Adsense ads shown, I displayed the images by adding a simple HTML image tag. I asked Google if you add the images was within the AdSense rules, and advised me they were fine as long as they do not make people click the ads, I mean, you can not have a light signal intermittent says, 'click on these ads, or you should not have a scantily clad girl pointing to the ads saying "it makes me happy - click here" or something like that, like some unpleasant images pertaining to your web page content.

The next two months or so, my income continued to increase slowly. By this time, besides my regular webpages I had been working on the blog of several related to different topics, so I thought I might also place AdSense ads on all my blogs also and make even more money. For a couple of weeks my earnings went up a bit, and I was very happy, then suddenly, like someone turning off a switch, my AdSense earnings plummeted. Now being done in one day what he had done the first time joined the program, what the hell happened I thought to myself? My traffic is slowly increasing, the number of clicks was rising, but for some strange reason, earnings per click (EPC) has been greatly reduced, it was horrible.

Then I learned that Google has introduced a new feature or system into the AdSense program, called "smart pricing" smart pricing 'automatically adjusts the cost of a click on your ad. Using the system analyze data Glasses AdSense, if it shows that a click from one of their websites is less likely to turn into an online sale or another business result for the publishing of advertisements, the amount you earn per click in AdSense is very small. When smart pricing "was introduced, some AdSense users saw their EPC drop to as low as 3 cents per click, where before smart pricing" could do the same of them won a dollar or again, this was quite drastic fall in income. What is horrible "smart pricing" as well as the loss of revenue for AdSense users is that a site or webpage can trigger it, and once triggered by a Web page, affecting the entire account and every webpage they have to win now much less per click. Remember awhile back when I had added AdSense ads to my blog, which seemed to be what had triggered smart pricing for me. The BLOG is found in many subjects, but no sites were real professional business, so that almost no business results such as sales, came from people clicking on the ads for these sites. After removing the Adsense ads on the blog, it took about a week, then I realized that the EPC has gone up a backup if the smart pricing "spell was broken.

If you are thinking about trying AdSense, or if you're at it, beware the curse of smart pricing, or if you've made your earnings, try removing AdSense ads on their websites a few pages at a time, the intelligent pricing system is evaluated each week, so will a few days to see if they have removed the ads on the page (s) to be triggered.
