It also has good aging resistance and a low moisture vapor transmission rate for Aluminum Tape  excellent sealing and patching performance.

To reinforce or repair a duct seam, simply cut the length you need. The easy-release silicone liner makes the tape easy to handle and keeps it from getting stuck to itself!

As you peel the liner back toward you with one hand, just smooth the foil tape along the seam with the other.

We think it is a good idea to inspect your ductwork periodically, but just a few tips on those "must inspect" times:

After an installer or repair person has worked in your attic. A simple misstep can cause duct damage. Even an accidently dropped tool may create a small hole that can add up to big energy loss.

If you are upgrading your air conditioning system and don't wish to spend the money to have the duct work replaced, an inspection and a little foil tape can go a long way to more reliable ductwork for an optimally functioning and energy-efficient system.

The most highly rated HVAC units are nothing without properly sealed ducts.

To maintain the integrity of those essential HVAC ducts you need to keep that air from escaping. Armed with China Aluminum Foil , you'll take on those seams to secure your way to superior climate control!
