Whose tribal markless
Made it possible
That
He had access to wife
And good food.
But that is another age
The question is still
Why the kirikiri
Dogs are a shade browner
Then the dogs in Navy Town
Alakija?
Prologue: with kirikiri?

No one will ask you
Why Rikikiri
Except they know
You ‘re going there
To do jail time
Or art best
They wonder what
Took you to bejailed
Political prisoner
Petty thievery
Medium security prison
Women fighting prostitution
Women prisons wings
Or at worst
Politicalmurderer
Lends you in
Maximum security prison
Which was close to my house
Because the more the officer
The nearer to the kin-pined
Hardened criminals.
But it was heavy back ‘87
When papa was a controller
Of prisons
Medium women’s
Maximum that secured
The likes of brume     
But all those were not
As remorable
Compared with the long walk
I had to take
This morning
Not for lack of two ten kobos
Or two one naira as the case
My be but that of
My watching my weight
My trying to re-incarnate
The moving spirit
Which I would have regretted
Because those water sided
Dock yard rods
Where totally blocked
And the feeder access  bridge
Was being gradually eroded
Even when other river was not a deep
Glassified stone throw
The moving spirit went
Mechanic- music- chemist workshop
Made a fence
Opposite Dr. Lukas memorial college
Where oga Abel
A secondary school chap.
