POEM, AT ADEBOYEJO EXPRESS

The people I live with
at Adeboyejo express
   are extremely dirty
over flowing sewages perfume
your olfactory lobes
on entry
   stale dustbins
jobs your lobes as
you unlock your door
   and a little peep
will display a bathroma
ceramic wills and floors
more slippery than
the okoro fruit
death-traps with
arms out stretched
   waiting to collect its victim
and you close your eyes and nostril
as the oozing from
unflushed after use toilets …
the people. I live with
at Adeboyejo express
feeds more comfortable
with dirt
   housing on uni Aid icon
is mama Ajamide
whose fenultimate Ayo
is to bathe with bathroom doors
wide open
and her cow bells dangling
palisade tissues too ugly
to be shielded behind closed
bathroom doors during washing
how then can I cope
living with humanpigs
at  Adeboyajo express
when Gods promised land
is yet to be saved for
landed properties
still in their dream estates
as the pump their perfumes
of Akpu
into my living room
sending me a-sneezing
and it is diffused
with their smell of used stoves
all this I endure
till God’s tide comes
when drastic problems
will drastic solutions get
living in Adeboyejo express
