Ohwojevwe Ese Ganiyu

Night comes in a hurry
And we sleep in a flutter
As coz 'laide wakes us
Out of stormy sleep
Of sourced dreams
Of weeping Rachael
Whom we wooed
Right, left and centre
Till woes on hills of futility
Stares us back in the face
But when one sissy's gone
Another shadow looms
In caricatures of
Double breasted monuments of zebra
If on this white Sea
I may imprint
Then for sure
Brother I can tell you
That on this other side of midnight
My song heralds a glorious dawn
