I one thought
That
When I turned 40th
I will have my hair
All turned grayish
When I wake up
At the other side of midnight
Of my 40th birthday
Bu all I did
Was
To sleep all night
Only to woke up
The morning next
To self whispers
Of you must prepare
Your Ukodo yourself
Since Iya pelumi
Has Okoko family house
Gone since Friday morning
But first tis
Time to send
SMS text Advertisements
MAY HONOUR, ADOORATION,
GLORY AND PRAISES
BE TO THE HOLY NAMES OF
JEHOVAH
Pls join me in thanking
God because today
I'd be 40 years old
(And life they say begings at 40)
Or via visa-fone
I was told
Can't collect my
Original masters degree certificate
Because of an undertaking
I grade when applying for the programme
Yester years ago
But one joy ni wasnhot derived
Was to behind once again
The beauties of U. I
Whose blue and wash coloured
Wast coat of 60th anniversary
Makes here look younger
But full of merit in old age
However I must confess
That now that im 40
I feel more zestful
As if in young once again
Because is my new plate number
Life indeed they say begins at 40
Or via visafone
...pls join me in thanking
God today is my 40th birthday
Some replied
Long life and prosperity,
Numbers 6;4-9,
You deserve more...
May God keep you
Till 50,60,70 and even 100 years plus
And many more
But handy has any
Dropped a naira
Except through madam lamina's
Zain recharge card of 500 naira only
Some didn't bother to reply
But all that is less thrilling
Than the disappointment
I got next day at P.G. School U.I
