Abia State commissioner for Information & Strategy, Dr A. Agbazuere, has described an APGA governorship aspirant in the state, Dr Alex Otti, as a desperate and selfish politician who is trying to distort facts by claiming that Abia State is running a non-indigene policy.

According to Dr Agbazuere, Abia is not and has never ran a non-indigene policy. He explained that what happened in the past was that some states sacked Abia workers from their states and Abia State retaliated.
He added that even when Abia workers sacked from other states were yet to be recalled, governor of the state, Theodore Orji, in his usual fatherly disposition, later directed the recall of the affected workers from other states.
