Upon all the resources found in the continent both natural and human, yet Africa is still regarded as developing  continent (in most cases as third world continent) is this spiritual or intellectual challenge?

Well, when we succeed, stagnant or fail in business, life, state, country or continent is as a result of many factors. It couldn't be attributed to one factor as that would be a limitation.

In my view, in no way is this either of the two. Come to think of Africans, how spiritual and intellectual they are. Think about their joy and the mental strengths, even when they are starving. I think we are a strong and intelligent enough people.

The question of development is rather diffcult to answer, because it takes you back to another question namely what is development and who sets the standards of development. Is development building skyscrappers in the 'sacred/holy' African forests so that the continent can look like Hong Kong or Manhattan, or is development sitting back watching the untouched sacred forests from a distance and feeling content and protected by them?

What is development from an African perspective? To me it's not another reproduction of London or New York or Abu Dhabi.

Problem? There is no life, country or continent without challenge, any one who denies this is running a fake front.
I don't think is a matter of any problem or challenge they all bothers on one's mind set and perception as Dqueen indicated. As what you call development might be meaningless to others.    

In my opinion, spiritual; the spiritual controls the physical, what is happening in Africa is as a result of curses whether we like it or not. Ask your self why Americans love their country so much and say God bless America??? Words are powerful, come to think of it how many Africans truely love their father land and bless it daily? very few who are out weighted by those cursing!!!

I would disagree with you on that abitex. Africa is cursed by who? and who are the Africans singing 'God bless America'? I know we love some of the American lifestyle but not to the extent of asking 'God' to bless it.... Believing in curse, thus the supernatural only distracts us from the real problems that we should be solving.

Africa is suffering from curses from gross Idolatry, this affects generations yet unborn.

Tell me the part of Africa you are from and I would tell you what demonic influence is associated in that area.

Malawi
Zimbabwe
South Africa
Kenya

All the countries listed are under great demonic siege, you'll agree with me that the Jezeebel spirit has taken all these nations to gross immorality, the demonic influences can be seen in Zimbabwe to impoverish the masses through bad leadership as also seen in Nigeria. 1 John 3:8, shows that all of these are from the devil. People syphonying all Nigerian oil. Poverty is not of God. You can see gross poverty in all the countries???
