Nyasa Big Bullets's player Fisher Kondowe has announced that he will contest in the 2019 elections as an aspirant MP for Blantyre City South Constituency on MCP ticket.

Kodnowe was officially unveiled by Sidik Mia who has also announced that he will contest on the VP position during the party's convention. The date for MCP convention is yet to be announced.

The announcement was made in Blantyre during a news conference addressed by Sidiki Mia.
