Breaking: Buhari instructs new A'Ibom CP to ensure ousted lawmakers conduct sitting in AKHA tomorrow.

President Muhammadu Buhari has given express instruction to the new commissioner of police in Akwa Ibom State, Mr Hyerasinda Musa Kimo to ensure that the ousted 5 former members of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly conduct their sitting tomorrow Wednesday, 21 November 2018, adjourned date.

The instruction followed the briefing of President Buhari by the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole later today who told the president that the commissioner of police in Akwa Ibom refused to mobilize his men to cause crisis in the assembly the could lead to the closure of the complex.

Angered by the development, President Buhari immediately ordered the Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris to remove the Akwa Ibom State commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang and send in a more competent police commissioner to assist the ousted former lawmakers in whatever they want to do in the state.

As at the time of this report, it was gathered that the 5 ousted former lawmakers whose seats were declared vacant by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly following a court judgment declaring their seats vacant are currently in talk with the incoming CP on how they will break into the State Assembly to conduct sitting tomorrow.

It was also gathered that the 5 ousted former lawmakers; Nse Ntuen, Gabriel Toby, Idongesit Ituen, Otobong Ndem, and Victor Udofia are currently mobilizing thugs to invade the State Assembly tomorrow. The invasion according to their plan will be heavily supported by the incoming police commissioner.

Mr Adams Oshiomhole has vowed that he will use federal might to deal with Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Speaker for declaring the seats of APC members vacant.

The APC National Chairman questioned what is the meaning of rule of law in APC, adding that what PDP call rule of law and federal might is democracy in action in APC.
