I have understood the problems with one sided stories:

But how in the world would they say that all we know in the east and Especially in Onicha is just trading and you just take it up , hook, line and sinker.

As my discussion with the elderly man who called our people traders was still on, I remember how I got the flawless Victory, I said in a harsh tone, how would you say onicha and Anambra and the whole of south East is not blessed, I told him of how the government gave them an upper hand that after the no victor no vanquish was declared after the Civil war, that the government said they'll rebuild war affected areas, and out of envy of the progressive mind of ndi- igbo they started from the west ,then I noticed I was fighting, I needed to give a sucker punch.

He cut in, telling me the number of professors, I gave him a stern look, when he finished , I humbly said Sir, I'll mention some names and I hope you'll be familiar with these names: I started With Sir Louis Mbanefo, Justice Nwokedi, Justice Akunwafor Chuba Ikpeazu, I asked if he has a knowledge of Prof WWC Echezona, Prof Amaucheazi, I mentioned Emeagwali,  I did not stop, I called our Amazon(Prof Dora Akunyili) but oga was still talking and telling me these were the lucky ones who turned out well.

I got furious,  it was that moment I told him it was a man thoroughly bred in DMGS Onicha that became the first Vice Chancellor of the premier University in the west, University of Ibadan, when I mentioned Prof Kenneth Dike, he became a bit humble, then most of the people who gathered waiting to use  the machine were amazed, oga started stuttering.

When I noticed he has swallowed the humble pie, I calmed down and told oga why he feels we only trade, I told him that it was because we were not too loud, that our achievements speaks more than our words, oga started acting in a hurry, he left the ATM without withdrawing, I had this excitement within me, our brothers who were on the queue were all happy.

Do not, I repeat,  do not agree that all we know is trading, we are masters in all aspects, no one can take the shine off us. Even in Trading they've failed to match us, in academics,  we are above them, asides Aba, Onicha and Anambra comes second after every WAEC examination for the past 4yrs.  Just because of security purposes I would have called names of millions of people doing so great who are young and have walked the streets of Onicha.

Onicha should kick that the government should open up the sea port, once it's done, you will see how Onicha will flourish more.

Do not let anyone tell your Story, they might be envious and twist it. Abum Nwannebuife Anieto,  abum nwa Otu

Perfect

I agree.
Also, without Igbo in Nigeria, there wouldn't be anything called Nigeria by now: they are the engine that is moving the economy of Nigeria forward and the element that is holding the country as one.

All igbo people actions are accomplishing the above things. No matter how they go about it. For example, when they talk about Biafran, they are indirectly uniting all other tribes in Nigeria, as a result these tribes pretend that all is well; when igbo people invest, they invest across the country not just in the south east, etc.
