A Texas college Tuesday issued an unconvincing apology for what it described as "incorrect information" after multiple international applicants received a rejection letter stating that "Navarro College is not accepting international students from countries with confirmed Ebola cases."

The major country affected by this stigmatization appears to be Nigeria, a country which has had no new cases of Ebola in the last 21 days and has been declared Ebola-free by the WHO.

I read this story with shock and utter amazement at the length Americans will go with hypocrisy and racism.

How come an American University, Texas in particular, is rejecting applications from Nigeria, a country declared Ebola-FREE, while they have current cases of Ebola in their backyard.

Guys Abeg join me in Condemning this hideous stigmatization against our Naija brothers.

Yes, that rejection is ok, so that Nigerians can develop it university to that standard Nigeria students are going for.  I see this as an opportunity.
Na by force?

Isn't peculiar to America, here in Nigeria we should like and love ourselves, because you're what you think. Igbo discriminates Yoruba, Yoruba  discriminates Hausa, Hausa discriminates southern Nigeria, and so on, what you see outside there is mirror of what Nigerians do over here, even among Africans here in the continent. So who needs solution here?
