How to Shut the Buharists up. When they scream that Atiku is corrupt, please don't go throwing insults with them. That is what they want; to reduce you to their gutter habitation. Simply ask them to provide you with empirical evidence of this corruption. Of course they will not have it so their next tactics will be to dredge up several unsubstantiated allegations.

Just smile and point to Maina-gate, Dr Kachukwu's allegation, Babalchir's sleeze, IDP grass cutting brouhaha, IGP's car gift to Aisha Buhari and a host of others, and simply ask them if these are happening under an Atiku presidency. When they scream that Atiku moves from party to party, simply remind them that Atiku has contested only once in 2007 unlike Buhari who contested four times under different political parties. Also remind them that in 2011 Buhari cried and promised not to contest again yet he went ahead to contest in 2015.

Don't allow them forget that Buhari promised not to run for second term yet he is using the EFCC and DSS to harass anyone suspected of having presidential ambitions for 2019. Their next point of recourse will be on integrity but just simply remind them that we are still waiting for his declaration of asset. Saying you have one hut in Daura and 150 cows as a private citizen is not the same thing as saying it as a President. Let him say it officially now so perjury will hold him. Then also subtly rub it in that Buhari is not as half as academically enlightened as Atiku.

They hate being reminded of Buhari's academic deficiency so they will say that education doesn't matter. At this point, simply smile and tell them that it is because education doesn't matter to PMB that is why budgetary allocation to education has dropped from 10.7% during the GEJ era to a record low of 7.04% under Buhari. It is due to this lack of education that we are now witnessing only 33% capital expenditure implementation of the budget from the usual 60% to 75% implementation while recurrent expenditure implementation has jumped to 95%. It is high time we start pointing out the failures of this government which are plethora. The ineptitude of the Buhari administration is the highest in the history of Nigeria. Nepotism and cronyism has been taken to empyrean heights.

Corruption has been redefined to mean APC corruption is acceptable while opposition maladministration is media hyped as corruption. Under APC we are recovering billions yet borrowing billions. It is high time we start pointing it out that if you can run a successful business enterprise then you can possibly run a successful capitalist government. Trump is today boosting the USA economy because he ran a successful business. Buhari can't run our economy because he couldn't even successfully manage 150 cows to multiple. Atiku remains our best best to move Nigeria forward on the path of economic growth.

I am Okah Ewah Edede, a writer and On Air Personality (Radio OAP), and former PA to ALGON President.

I am intelligent enough to stand for Atiku. Are you?
