No governor in the whole of the South East, both past and present, since 1999 till date, comes close to his impecable record.

The amazing thing about Umahi’s achievements in Ebonyi, which we are not discussing well enough, is that he did all these wonders with lean resources.
 


While Governor Okezie Ikpeszu and Ugwuanyi are busy carrying petulant Wike’s handbag and following him every where he goes, Umahi is focused in delivering good dividend of democracy to  his people in Ebonyi.


 
Ebonyi state is the poorest in the South East, but Umahi has been a colossus in delivering good infrastructure in a region plagued by mediocre leaders and overrated former governors.
 
As I said earlier, I’m not a fan of his politics, his temperament, and his interpersonal skills are nothing to write home about.
 
People that know him well claim that he behaves like a dictator.
 
Regardless, he has shone like a bright star, and for all his flaws and all, history will forever be kind to him.
