The Governor of Sokoto state, Alh. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamako over the weekend blasted President Goodluck Jonathan describing him as being to weak to handle the current security difficulties and political intrigues in the country, alleging that he (Jonathan) was the cause of the problems facing the country today.

Wamakko who made this disclosure in an interview with the Hausa Service of Voice of America monitored in Jos on the drama that happened on Thursday at the National Assembly stated thus: " From the way things are going on in this country, it has become clear to us that Jonathan cannot rule this country.

He is the cause of the problems we finding ourselves in today. He is also the engineer of the scuffles that happened at the National Assembly. We as a party have started deliberating on the issue and will ensure that something is done about it. We cannot allow this kind of humiliation to continue.Wamakko added that the action of the security operatives at NASS which was "planned by President Jonathan to humiliate and harass the speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal" on Thursday was a total breach of the law, adding that they would do everything possible to ensure that something was done to prevent future occurrence.

He called on the national security adviser to the president to resign his position.
