The court order stopping ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo from publishing, printing or selling, his autobiography: "My Watch." Has been lifted by Justice Valentine Ashi of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Justice Ashi who slammed the earlier restraining order on December 5 and 10, 2014, claimed that he was misled.

The order was lifted on the ground that the applicant, Buruji Kashamu, a PDP chieftain, suppressed facts from the court to obtain the order. The Inspector General of Police (IG), the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC) have been directed by the court to recover and return all seized copies.
