Strong indication has emerged that Kebbi State deputy governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu and 17 other members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will today defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).


An eReporter source disclosed this last night, stating that the event will take place at the state capital, Birnin Kebbi after President Goodluck Jonathan had departed the state.
President Jonathan was in the state yesterday to commission a new international airport.

The main reason behind the mass defection is not yet clear.
