Malam Mohammed Jamilu-Guddare, the man who was allegedly reported to have attacked President Muhammadu Buhari during Agric Show at Argungu in Kebbi State has debunked media report about his mission.

Jamilu, 30, a graduate of Public Administration from Usman Danfodio University Sokoto made an attempt to have a hand shake with Mr President shortly after the Agric Show.

Addressing Journalists in Birnin Kebbi Jamilu-Guddare said it was a difficult day for him as a graduate, taking such a risk to get the attention of Mr President despite the presence of heavy security personnel in the venue.

While admitting that he breached protocol, Jamilu-Guddare noted that it was all for his support and love to Mr. President that made him to embark on such a risky venture.

He explained that President Buhari remains the most integrity, nurtured, honest, incorruptible and right driven leader adding that "I was happy to meet the President".

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed described Jamilu-Guddare as a young man who was very passionate about Mr president.

Alhaji Mohammed regretted about all the stories making rounds that Jamilu was trying to attack Mr President, saying that such stories were actually false.

Similarly, Governor Atiki Bagudu of Kebbi State said that Jamilu was an ardent Buharist who was in an exuberant attempt to greet Mr President but was mistaken viewed as trying to attach President.
